MARRIED ALUMNI GOT A MIDNIGHT TEXT FROM THE EX AT THE COLLEGE REUNION HOTEL
A fictional reunion weekend tests vows, curiosity, and who saw what in the lobby bar.
[FOUNDER TEST — FICTIONAL SCENARIO. NOT REAL NEWS. NOT ABOUT REAL PEOPLE.] During fictional Belmont College's 15-year reunion, married attorney Chris Fen received a 12:47 a.m. text from ex-partner Riley Dunn: “Room 814 if you still wonder.” Fen showed the message to spouse Alex Fen in the hotel hallway; Alex posted a blurred screenshot to a private alumni chat asking “is this a joke?” Dunn told fictional campus blog The Weekend Register it was “nostalgia, not an affair.” Two classmates said Fen entered the elevator toward the eighth floor and returned twenty minutes later. Fen said they “took a walk.” No real people or institutions are depicted.
Temptation rarely looks dramatic in the moment — it looks like a notification.
